First, lets begin with the good news!
After weeks of not being able to run thanks to Achilles bursitis, I am able to do so again! I mean, I suppose I could have always done so, but that would break doctors orders. Tsk tsk.
To celebrate being able to run again, I participated in a 5K race over the weekend with Lindsay (more on that later). But, because I am impatient, let me just tell you one overall thing about the race: it was spectacular.
I am just so excited to get back into a regular routine with my workouts. I know for a while I probably won’t be doing back-to-back days of cardio because I want to ease my heels into everything and give them time to rest up in between sessions. But that is why there is strength training. And yoga.

I realized that I haven’t provided any sort of baller workout music lately (ahem, a year. goodness has it really been that long?). So, I am fixing that now.
I constantly add music to my “Work It” playlist and I hear quite often that I’ve been known to make some pretty sweet mixes. And because I love you all, I really do feel the need to share the wealth. Some of the songs you may know already and some you may not. My only hope is that you enjoy the music.
